Nebulus GBA V1.2 (29.11.2004) 1.2

Historical

This game was developed by John M. Phillips on Commodore 64, Spectrum, Amiga and Atari ST, published in 1988 by Hewson. Game received several awards (originality, programming, etc ..).
This game is also known on PC under the name of "Tower Toppler".

Scenario

On the planet Nebulus, things goes wrong. Someone built giant towers on the open sea without a building permit and Destructo Inc was hired to demolish them. The player takes on the role of the poor worker responsible for destroying them.
The demolition expert arrives at the bottom of each submarine tower. He is a typical Nebulusian, a big green biped who can jump and shoot bubbles of energy.

To destroy a tower, the player must reach the top of the tower within the prescribed time by using the stairs, tunnel and elevators. He will also play the various traps and avoid the enemies who slow down his progress by pushing him into the void.

The Gameboy Advance version

This version uses the graphics of the Atari ST version and the sounds of the Amiga version. The game conforms to the Atari ST version.
The cross is used to move and move up and down the elevators.
The A Button allows you to shoot an energy bubble when you are stopped. Used with the cross direction, it allows to jump.

This conversion was ranked 3rd in the 2004 GBAX Programming Contest! O)
