Not always. Deck still can't play anticheat games and it is a weaker system in general than these handhelds. Very large too. For as chunky as that flip system looks the Deck is still quite a lot larger.
The ability to play those games at much higher resolutions and framerates
being able to play PC games as a whole and not just Nintendo 3DS games
Much more control and customization of the system and what OS you can use.
Nostalgia isn't as important as simply having a better gaming experience.
.... playing DS games?
If/when your DS/3DS eventually give out this sounds like a great replacement. hopefully the bottom screen functions closer to the DS bottom screen, where touching it with literally anything will enable an input. if it worked like a smartphone that would suck as it would...
Waiting for AI voice acting to get to a point where it doesn't sound robotic and ridiculous is probably much more effort than just hiring a new guy to voice the bing bing wahoo spaghetti plumber.
charles martinet will not live forever. Ya gotta replace him at some point
Kevin's Luigi impression from what i've heard is perfect. I mostly play Luigi in mario games so IDK about Mario's voice.
It looks fine. It looks like how you'd expect a 27-28 year old early 3D platformer to look. It isn't developed for an RTX 4090, neither is it developed on Unreal Engine 5.
Not to mention a mere texture pack doesn't do shit. The texture are lo fi because the models are lo fi. You'd need to...
on Mario Wonder, the performance on Ryujinx on Deck is ok but not the best, the game starts off super laggy until all the shaders compile. Even then the game doesn't always keep a consistent 60fps.
That being said the game being as good as it is doesn't really make me care much.
you know what's funny? Mario Wonder got leaked just as i got finished beating Mario World. Was gonna finish Mario Bros 3 too but that's on hold.
I gotta see this new game it looks so good
I may try the new ram site, and download more RAM to my Switch. Not sure if ddr3 is the right ram
for it tho. Edit- no it uses floppy Ram, just like @AncientBoi
