If you remove the ssd controller and the the short to ground is gone then it's the ssd controller causing the short no? What is the resistance to ground with the ssd controller installed?
Did you thoroughly clean out the flux and ipa from under the SB? Usually when it hangs after installing a known good working SB it was the flux and ipa under the SB (on the solder balls) that's messing with the crystal oscillator causing it to hang. I would heat up the sb area then flush ipa...
I had one that had the same error crash code whenever in game for 5 min or so. Uart doesn't show any errors from game crashes for this. Unfortunately I haven't been able to fix these, seems like apu / ram / on board ssd related.
I may try the new ram site, and download more RAM to my Switch. Not sure if ddr3 is the right ram
