Doesn't matter if you update first or last. When it comes to switch modding, firmware doesn't matter anymore (it only matters if you have a switch on firmware 4.0 or lower since you then can use the Pegascape exploit. But that got patched out...
If you use the deepsea aio, they have a payload that can fix quite a few things. Even "uninstalling" themes (I use "" because it's not un/installing anything. It's just copying files to the correct directory)
probably due to the button requirement. its set to disable the spawn by default till L+R are held and it will set a new spawn then return to default state. So just use the second 040A0000 line as a seperate code. cant guarantee but can try.
Yeah oblivionregin makes their codes on the actual hardware, the switch emulators (for one reason or another, im not sure) don't support all the code types that atmosphere uses. Eiffel2018 made some codes for yuzu/ryujinx but they're for 1.0.2
