    Hardware Is this screen broken?

A little isopropyl on the screen connector and ribbon cable and maybe some compressed/canned air might help. Otherwise yeah, could be the screen itself.

    Hacking INSTINCT-NX Chip

Has anyone found documentation on the V6S on how to reset it using the consoles USB-C port? I'm interested in this but have only seen Sthetix's installation and he does not demonstrate that feature in the video (unless he's posted about it since then, haven't looked recently).

    eMMC exchange question

The basic gist of it is I dumped the SK-Hynix in Hekate first onto microSD, swapped the Hynix with Samsung using hot air station and solder paste with stencil, booted back into Hekate and restored the Hynix dump to the Samsung.

    eMMC exchange question

It was new, not sourced from another Switch

    eMMC exchange question

I have swapped an SK-Hynix with a Samsung no problem, same size 64GB and restored the dumped NAND from SK-Hynix onto the Samsung in Hekate.

Extra check before soldering picofly modchip

"never soldered things so small" - HIGHLY recommended to do some testing on an old PCB/motherboard before diving into this head first. Example, I had an old graphics card lying around that I practiced on first "is it risky" - ABSOLUTELY. The components on the Switch motherboard are extremely...

Switch Lite Hwfly No 'boot.dat' Boots OFW

If by "**" you mean that you're seeing 2 short LED blinks, that is your RST point not connected (B point). I would definitely recheck all the diode readings for your solder points, specifically "B"

Is the SD recognized by your computer? do you have a "payload.bin" file on the root of it?

Hacking Sigpatches for Atmosphere (Hekate, fss0, fusee & package3)

on your SD card, delete "atmosphere\contents\0100000000001000". If you updated with a custom theme then that's the problem

    Hacking INSTINCT-NX Chip

good catch. yeah I would clean that up if you haven't already and give it another test after checking all your other points

    Hacking INSTINCT-NX Chip

If you hold vol+ and vol- together while trying to boot, does it boot to stock firmware? I had an Instinct chip that functioned "fine" as you showed in your video, but there were shorts on the chip itself that, for whatever reason, would not allow the Switch to boot even after going through...

Hacking switch died after installing modchip, and I need help

Sounds like you need to bust out a multimeter and test your solder points for shorts. Can you post pictures of your work?

    Picofly AIO Thread

It glitches the boot process of the Switch in order to run an unsigned payload, eg Hekate. So it accomplishes the same thing but in a different way

Hacking Sigpatches for Atmosphere (Hekate, fss0, fusee & package3)

use AIO updater to download the 16.1.0 firmware, then Daybreak to install.

I know the pricing of electronics nowadays isn't "how much it actually costs" but "how much we can get away with", but putting up a poll is just cynical.
