Tutorial Community noob guide to Wii U hacking

Hey. I've been trying to access my wii's nand files through aroma's ftp, or what some people said was the storage mlc. I even tried to use a flash drive and transfer games to it to see if I could see files from ftp, but I only ever see my sd card, there's no folder called storage mlc, I don't...

Homebrew Add many more screen layout options in DS virtual console games

Thanks but this is only for with an external drive, while I wanted to know for the nand. I'd still like to know, though for now I found one solution for the program I'm using, in the thread, to put the files in the base game when injecting, and it worked for me. It's just it would be useful to...

Homebrew Add many more screen layout options in DS virtual console games

I'm using Aroma and just tried its ftp, but I can't access any files that says wiiu/games in the nand, there's just fs and there's a content folder down the line but no games. How do I access the right folders in the wii u itself? -I guess i should add that I injected using UWUVCI AIO (and...

Hacking Sigpatches for Atmosphere (Hekate, fss0, fusee & package3)

Since the updates before this last one, has anyone gotten more 'USB connection lost' message when trying to install nsp files and such? I dunno if another program would do better, been using Awoo still. I didn't like how dbi did things, sometimes it ended up with partly corrupted games.

Hacking Sigpatches for Atmosphere (Hekate, fss0, fusee & package3)

I think more experienced people should be doing the exploring. But also doesn't hurt to see if others have already done it.

Hacking Sigpatches for Atmosphere (Hekate, fss0, fusee & package3)

Unless you know what you're doing, when there's a new nintendo update you have to wait for atmosphere and sigpatches to be updated before you update firmware. I'm not sure what the progress is right now but it might not be ready yet. You should also update these things 'before' you go for...

You probably just need to update the sigpatches?

Hacking Atmosphere-NX - Custom Firmware in development by SciresM

    Yeah that's why I brought it up. I don't know, it's a sandisk and I don't think I have a lot of sysmodules

Hacking Atmosphere-NX - Custom Firmware in development by SciresM

Since I updated to the latest atmosphere, it also happens that it goes to sleep right after booting. I found it weird but it hasn't been a problem afaik besides that I have to take it out of sleep. Still weird though.

Nintendo Switch firmware 18.0.0 has been released

I used to like updates, but I guess not anymore. But I keep my modded switch offline. I can patiently wait. Though it still sucks.

Nintendo is suing the Yuzu emulator team

I think it would suck even they only go after yuzu, though it's a bad precedent if they win in any case xD

Nintendo is suing the Yuzu emulator team

I think what Nintendo will argue is that their intention wasn't just for preservation since the team posted about tears of the kingdom working when it hadn't released (so, along pirating), or something like that. I hope Nintendo doesn't win, but it's hard to say how much it's in Yuzu's favour.

I know the pricing of electronics nowadays isn't "how much it actually costs" but "how much we can get away with", but putting up a poll is just cynical.
