Uh no. Raid Pokémon can absolutely be shiny.
One of my first shinies was a shiny Rellor encountered in a raid. Plus raids are the only place I’ve seen square shinies appear (aside from when you transfer a shiny event pokemon of course)

Because every update inserts new data into the RAM, which pushes the values we target with cheats to a different location.
So the cheats need to be updated to reflect the new addresses of the values we’re modifying.
