    With Ohneschwanzenegger you can install a virgin nand without modifications. Then you install homebrew, uninstall bootmii as boot2, delete the homebrew channel and that's it.

    I have tried doing the same and it still gives me DSI error when viewing the channels. I noticed that the loader xml file was 0 kb, it seems to somehow corrupt that file so it must be some kind of loader anomaly.

    Wouldn't it be better to update and improve stability instead of adding new plugins and derivatives? I think that every time something new is added it breaks anything else, whether it's audio/video or whatever. That is just my opinion.

    Try changing the cluster size of your USB, the recommended is 32kb for Wii games. From experience I have had the same slowdown symptoms when having more than 32kb of cluster.
