Back in the day I used to buy them somewhat monthly to play the newest games albeit they were just demos, sometimes with a timer i.e. on PS2 or as long as I'd want on Xbox.
Nowadays, there isn't much point to it other than playing it to see if there's differences between the demos and the retail versions, and for nostalgia, of course.
