the PS4 does not work without a HDD. Because the filesystem is stored on there. So change the HDD and then update via USB. The blu-ray drive is not necessary.

The blu-ray drive is not necessary.I know PS4 need HDD,but is there any way,to reinstall firmware with new hdd,when is BD drive broken?Or use HDD from my first PS4 (i know it will be formatted).Because when i install new hdd and try to reinstall fw,i get NO BD drive error.
