    Maybe the thermal paste was not applied properly then. Maybe there are air bubbles. Generally if the temperature is set to the default (68 degrees) then fans shouldn't reach 40%.

    Are they encrypted to begin with? If you've created them with multiMAN or IRISMAN then they're automatically decrypted, unless you explicitly changed it in the configuration. Decryption is only really needed if you create Redump type rips by ripping the discs on a PC.

    Try it with ps1_netemu, the new emulator used for PSOne Classics. If you have webMAN MOD installed you can use it by holding down R2 while mounting an ISO image. Note that ps1_netemu can't be used for physical discs, only disc images.

    Yeah, all the firmware and tools have already been ported over to the new version. No need for any new detailed guides because the jailbreaking method is identical to what it used to, just make sure you use 4.91 CFW / HFW.
