    I would check what is getting warm. It could be one of the caps around the bug converter, the bug converter itself, the wifi ic or on the back of the wifi ic one of the caps.

    I normaly use IPA and a cotton swap to remove liquid metal. From Thermal Grizzly there is a Remover aceton-based. If you had spilled liquid metal on the APU, I would make sure that no rest is left.

    Error code 80C00140 can be caused by - bga problem at APU - liquid metal spill on top of the APU - bga problem at GDDR6 ram ics I would take used ones from a PS5 as replacement. I couldn't find the exact model number for purchase on digikey/mouser/.... Micron (D9ZPL/9DXKV) and Samsung...

    I guess that the sb is not powering on, if you have 0A. The pmic ic (RT5126/DA9065) should power the sb. Maybe the sb is bad too?

    Do you get 3.3V on the TX and RX on the PS5 mainboard if only a psu is connected? Do you get 3.3V at the TX and RX pins at the programmer without the both wires connected to the PS5? If connected: Are the wires TX -> RX and RX -> TX connected? Have both line still 3.3V while PS5 and programmer...

    For UART only 12V are necessary. No starting the PS5. The southbridge will start as soon the 12V are reaching the board. Wait aprox 20 sec and OK 00000000:3A $$ [MANU] UART CMD READY:36 should be on the terminal
