This is a request from the Switchroot Ubuntu Jammy maintainer to remove this guide. It causes great confusion from users and includes dangerous commands.
The only guide necessary is
1. Install Switchroot Ubuntu Jammy
2. Open the L4T-Megascript and install Steam
3. Reboot and then start Steam...
All support is handled via the discord as indicated in the install guide.
Regarding your experience with gnome software, it does not consistently work on the first boot of the system. It also takes a while to download the metadata on first launch. If you reboot it will work and continue to do...

@ZeroFX Guide is out of date and breaks users APT repo
(https://dl.bintray.com/moonlight-stream/moonlight-l4t this repo no longer exists)
Please delete this post or edit the main post either with a link to the official install guide...
so I assume a low level 3d renderer (ie: vulkan on linux) is out of the question then too? Deko3d seems great for HOS but its a shame that work will stay HOS only.
I've asked this before but its was still up in the air
@catlover007 do you still plan on porting your neon GPU stuff to melonDS master (without the deko renderer of course)? I'm sure it would really help out the arm64 linux devices
since people are still coming here for info... DO NOT USE the instructions from the OP
use the L4T-Megascript (now included as part of L4T Switchroot 3.4.0 in your applications folder) to install MultiMC5 (with a custom automatically updating meta repo)
no fuss with all release mincraft...
oh my bad
sorry thought it was relatively up to date since it was last pushed Feb 12th
anyway, it works great otherwise once neon actually gets enabled properly
alright I found the bugs in GPU3D.cpp and GPU.cpp
GPU3D.cpp should read like this at line 695
#ifdef NEONSOFTGPU_ENABLED
void MatrixMult4x4(s32* m, s32* s);
void MatrixMult4x3(s32* m, s32* s);
void MatrixMult3x3(s32* m, s32* s);
void MatrixScale(s32* m, s32* s);
void MatrixTranslate(s32* m...
@catlover007 I've been messing around with the various forks and version of MelonDS.
I've found that your fork RSDuck/melonDS switch-new branch has broken openGL renderer (distorted image and colors)
the master branch of Arisotura/melonDS works fine for me. any ideas?
I'm running on nintendo...
You must have missed this part "
Step 3: Selecting your LWJGL version
Now, you need to choose a LWJGL version. The options are 2 or 3. If you plan on using Minecraft 1.13+, choose 3. If you plan on using Minecraft 1.12.2 or below, choose 2. You can change this at any time."
the thread is somewhat dead because there is a newer way to load java edition which lets you go all the way up to the current version 1.16 (https://gitlab.com/devluke/mcswitchtools/blob/master/README.md) there is a guide at this link
I may try the new ram site, and download more RAM to my Switch. Not sure if ddr3 is the right ram
for it tho. Edit- no it uses floppy Ram, just like @AncientBoi
