Skyward Sword experimented with bullshit motion controls, and with limited stamina and shield fragility and resource grinding, the latter three would become way more present in BotW/TotK, so I don't consider it a "true" traditional game, not like the four 3D Zeldas before it (and yes, that few - OoT, MM, TWW, TP).
