I mean, that's not really ideal because heat shrink doesn't actually conduct the connection, just insulates it, so thew quality of the connection is just the twisted wires. But it's really not that delicate and I've done jankier things before, so whatever works lol- endoverend

Don't you normally put heat shrink over a soldered connection? You can still just have a bad crimp with the butt connectors- endoverend

It wasn't that bad when I did mine but I had to buy so many butt connectors cause the wires kept coming out. In hindsight I probably should have just soldered.- endoverend

I didn't really like the comic because none of it makes any sense in an online context. I can already imagine people just trolling and saying "BACKFIRE EFFECT" as a synonym for "triggered" as soon as someone defends a position. Yeah, I have one 27 inch monitor and another small 4:3 one off to the side. Really helps if you want to keep two windows in view without having to shrink stuff down and make everything cramped.- endoverend
