Hello. I'd like to install Lubuntu alongside Windows 10 on my laptop so it can dual boot. But I have a problem with it.
I have a very minimalistic BIOS I think, many options are lacking compared to what I saw in a video on how to enable legacy support.
It's even lacking system configuration, which in the video he went to to enable legacy support.
Like I said, I have a BIOS on its minimum, like almost no options. What do I need to do to enable legacy mode?
If that's not possible, is it safe to install Lubuntu 22.04.1 LTS without having a legacy support option?

Thanks in advance.

If it has 'Secure Boot' that could be getting in the way of booting to Lubuntu
I disabled it now. Now there's another problem I stumble upon.
I'm trying to boot from USB, but there's no such option in the boot menu. So I tried the option to boot from USB within Windows 10 by going to the settings and recovery and use the advanced recovery menu and choose to boot from an EFI USB Device.

Then I got an error: System doesn't have any USB boot option. Please select other boot option in Boot Manager Menu.

When clicking ok, I get to the Boot Manager screen and it says EFI Boot Devices:

Windows Boot Manager
EFI Network 0 for IPv6
EFI Network 0 for IPv4

And that was it. I can't change it or anything.
Windows Boot Manager just boots Windows 10 normally.

What do I need to do now? Or isn't it possible on this laptop at all???
This is very weird, since USB Boot is enabled in the BIOS...

I think his problem is that he can't boot the install media in the first place, because his laptop won't let him boot from USB. The traditional way is to install from CD/DVD, but most devices don't have optical drives these days, either, in which case you're SOL.

It most likely can boot from usb. You just need to specify the drive in the windows boot manager portion of your bios. What model laptop do you have, this may help find it.

You're using EFI that far I can tell.
So boot Rufus on your WIndows 10.
Add Lubuntu ISO in Rufus (I recommend Linux Mint anyday over Ubuntu)
Make sure you have that it is a EFI that will be used.
Burn it to the USB.

Press F2 or whatever boot manager key you use on your laptop.
