Original question: Hello everibody here !

I would like to get your advices here,
I would like to replace a banned switch with a new unbanned one and keep all old files (games, saves, etc).

1) can I just take the SD card from the old switch, plug in the new one and use it ?
I think no, as emummc is a copy of sysnand, and sysnand will be different from every console, no?
Don't wana test before you said me "stupid, yes, you can"

2) shall move "only some files" from the Old SD card to the new one (or the opposite, to be transparent, the old Switch has a 512GB card almost full, and new one only 256).
My first idea would have been to copy the "EMUMMC" created from the new switch, inside the old SD card of the old switch, deleting previous emummc, and manually move back the "nintendo" folder inside this new emummc folder...

But I'm not sure it will work,
and really I did not found a lot of documentation online about this kind of need.

thanks !

Answers:
No Nintendo related data will not work on a different switch as N lock them to each Switch.

To move Game Saves you need to use tools like for example JKSV

1) no you can't as you realized, nands can't be shared.

2) what your suggesting is almost the same as 1)

Ultimately you're gonna have to dump everything you wanna save then inject/install on the other one. I suggest dbi's mtp feature

You'll have to make a new emummc from the unbanned switch then reinstall games and finally manually copy saves from the banned switch with DBI, Checkpoint, or JKSV.
Thank you guys, I'll look at that tuto and maybe come back here to say if it worked :-p

Doing this on your sysNAND could result in your new console getting banned too. So I would only do it on emuNAND. Servers for some games check save data when you play online, and it's possible Nintendo will put 2 and 2 together if they see you have 80 hours of play time on your save file, on a brand new console that has never had a system transfer done.
Suppose you could move your sysNAND saves over to emuNAND, and you would only lose your progress in games you want to play online.

I want a handheld gaming system with a tablet sized screen, like a 8 or10" screen, with controllers that can detach like the Switch.

I don't see the buzz about a square screen personally. I think there will be a review on the site within a few weeks though if you are interested.

I've put down the money on the Odin 2 Mini since I just love that Vita form factor. Loved the power of the Odin 2 but the size always put me off, this one seems exactly what I've been wanting.

I don't care about the square screen it's just nice to hold something you don't have to stretch your arms a foots length

All these things expecting to be super huge is overrated just run a type c cable to your TV if you want a big display or in my case screen mirror it

My point is we already have enough shit with big displays having something pocketable with up to ps2 would be fine on the go
