Hardware Xbox isn't formatting hdd

sorry for my bed England, English is not my first language
I formated a 350gb western digital to xfat format for Xbox 360 slim, and after starting formatting the HDD Xbox just shows up a progress bar being filled to the half and then console restarts. after restart nothing happens, HDD still needs to be formatted
also there is no any kinds of error messages
the only forum site with this problem I found was deleted

Use FATXplorer Beta and inject the right security sector to allow the 360 to recognise the HDD. With a modified 360 its totally unnecessary.
