Decided to solder a USB cable to my PS4 controller, dealing with Bluetooth and its latency makes no sense when I'm 3 feet from my PC. Could have done a USB-C daughterboard to replace the borked micro one, but meh. Also has a spiffy new shell!

Been working on stuffing a MiSTer inside a PS1 shell. Still need my HDMI cable and a power switch solution before it's finished tho.

@The Catboy I know. Arendelle is my single least favorite world in the franchise and I've 100%d every game. High points in 3 were good highs (The Caribbean was EXCELLENT, Olympus and Toy Box were great as well) but the low points (Arendelle, Kingdom of Corona, the storytelling in Monstropolis) hurt so much. I really hope they learn from those shortcomings in 4.

Re:Coded, on the other hand, had good gameplay but the most lackluster story of the franchise.

It's so funny seeing more Twitter variants come out of the blue, and all kf those variants copy exactly how the original looks. I'm seeing a site called Cara and it literally looks like an alternate form of Twitter, that when ppl post their profiles, I'm getting confused

Twitter had the obvious 'tweet', and none of these renamed clones (or renamed original) are anywhere near as good. Ugh. Twitter was a fantastic name, and the founders were incredibly smart for picking that one - unlike the bozos and losers who came after with inferior naming skills.

I really like RPGs that let you dodge and counterattack, like in mario & luigi games. It makes it so much more engaging and adds another level or strategy while simultaneously removing a mechanic that's just RNG (hit/miss RNG that a lot of RPGs have)

Yeah. I like that it takes away the waiting time from battles, where you're just waiting for your next turn, since you're always doing something.

If you want "lets you dodge and counterattack", Super Paper Mario's platformer approach makes that quite easy to do; don't need to deal with short frame windows or anything, just move out of the way.

As for "takes away the waiting time", the Bravely Default games have a speed-up function, making battles much faster if you want it. 2x, 3x, and 4x, from memory.
More games should include either approach, honestly; they're both great for removing tedium from battles.
