    You can always change the firmware, but BE CAREFUL! Before you flash anything, dump your firmware. Your original firmware has a small region of data specific to your wifi board. It is entirely unique and can't be reproduced. YOU NEED TO BACK IT...

    It's quite sad for it to die, tbh. Even F-Zero, the series which had no new games for almost TWO DECADES had a new release last year (even though it was just a 99 game). I can cope with no new M&L games but it's kinda disappointing.

    The last one (3 DX) was released in 2018... and the last non-remake version was Paper Jam in 2015. I know that the original studio that developed M&L went bankrupt, but Nintendo hasn't partnered with another studio during the entire Switch era...

    There is not much to gain. Installing FlashMe can get rid of the Health&Safety screen as well as some obstacles not important anymore (DS game loading from SLOT-2 devices, disable signature checks for Download play).
