Hardware 8 bit do

i have a 8bit do that works perfect on my switch with a ps4 pro controller ,but same controller wont work on the xbox one
it pairs but nothing happens ,did microsoft block the 8bit do ? it has the newest firmware

Xbox controllers use a different input setting and don't play friendly like PS4 and Switch can.
