Yeah, sounds fun. It's not like real jobs and good developers were damaged by this. As poor guy I love "preservation" and emulators, but this kind news is the funniest thing that can happen in gaming news. Better only real lawsuits with Nintendo or other japanese gaming company.
'I love emulators but also when the places that preserve ROMs are forced to take down said ROMs.'

I'll take 'stupid, poorly-thought-out shit that contrarian edgelords say' for 500, Alex.

I tried downloading a GBC rom from Coolrom and there's a message they no longer provide it.

Nintendo doesn't get DMCA'ing websites means it shows up somewhere else.

I don't often download roms and ISO files, but when I do I'll take a good look at some archives.

Got almost everything till PS3 X360 era, I don't have enough hard drive space for some of the blu-ray rips.

I like seeing world on fire. Sony doing funny things on PC too. Only Microsoft is boring, only if they will not buy Steam as rumored.

If you did honestly think a ROM site being taken down is 'the world on fire' then you'd be even sadder than anybody on this site could ever understand. Luckily, it's very obvious that you're just LARPing.

I think it's worth waiting on this a bit, I heard the takedown might have been a false one, and it seems so according to some people around the scene.
Btw the games that were disabled from download were a wide majority involving Pokemon, Mario and Zelda across several consoles, the rest of the catalogue for each console still remains intact.
I wanna play paper Mario and it said that as well

At least this confirmation didn't hit front page.... yet. just look for other romsites and never put all your eggs in one fucking basket.
