Ok, so when I'm using CMA (not QCMA), I'm able to upload all of my DVD's and Blu-ray movies onto my Vita. Additionally, I have made my own custom thumbnails for each movie, that both the movie AND the thumbnail share the exact same name. This is not new to be, been doing it a long time. Of course, the issue is that the only way to get CMA working is via Wi-Fi, and sticking a film on my Vita can take anywhere from 20 - 30 minutes. So I uninstalled CMA and installed QCMA in it's place - and here's the problem...

QCMA (which loads a movie onto my Vita in less than 2 minutes) likes to make its own "thumbnail" for any given flick. This means I cannot use the thumbs I've made, many are close to/almost exact from their movie posters, and with a little bit of touch up in Photoshop, works out to be an excellent thumbnail. QMCA replaces this custom thumbnail with some happhazardous image it picks up off of the content of the film itself (for example, a random single frame of film).

Anybody know how to prevent or bypass this? I'd be grateful to hear from you.

- Thank you.

Depending if you are okay to go a bit detour with this.
I recall there is one or two video players for Vita as a homebrew. You could probably just skip whole QCMA part, upload the movies to the microSD card and use homebrew to play them with thumbnails as you fit it.

Thank you Kiro, much appreciated!!!

Could you please name/identify either or both of those 2 video players, be it homebrew or otherwise?

Here's what I found so far:
- Vita Media Player PSV (there is also PSTV release)
- MVPlayer
- Vita Sample Avplayer
- Vita Media Center
In that order, links to the projects if any:
- No link found, may be not open source (?)
- No link found, may not be open source (?)
By no link I mean no link to source code in github or something similar.
Also mind you I didn't try any of them or it was too long ago, so make sure you have Enso and all that stuff, just in case.

EDIT - BTW it's Kiiro, with two "i" :P
