Snowboard Champion is a short, nicely paced sports game for the Game Boy Color. It was developed by Bottom Up, a studio largely known for okayish sports games that seems to have folded sometime after 1999, and which never left a mark on the genre. Still, as far as byte-sized entertainment goes, it’s a cute title.
The patch translates all the text found during the game, including dialogues, menus, endings, and the standard GBC warning when attempting to run the game through a standard Game Boy. Additionally, it also includes a localized title screen. Major thanks to leina for providing assistance on a nagging technical issue regarding character printing – without their help, this wouldn’t be 100% done.
The final, patched version must have a CRC32 of 01FB5F67.
Lunar IPS is required to patch the game.
