Watching Matrix would be cool on it. I plan on watching Saturday morning cartoons on mine. 😋 With standard shipping and taxes I paid just short of $115 CAD.

I find the hinge to be solid and good quality. The triggers feel just like the GBA SP triggers. The L2 and R2 triggers feel ok as well. I can press them comfortably. Not sure if I'll ever play a game that needs them, but certainly don't mind them.

Well, I broke down and ordered one on the first day. I have to say I'm impressed by the unit. I found many games to be choppy. Haven't played with the shaders yet. Considering changing OS to muOS. If anyone gets the grey one, it's a bit darker...

Foof. I want one of these. I'm attracted to shiny objects, as well as I love the blue one with the 70s look. I just don't know if it's worth it. I have a modded GBA SP and gameboy/gameboy colour games look great on in. Un-scaled, the screen area...

So you could do the same thing as suggested with the SP idea - a button pcb overlay over the regular pcb to set button placement wider to accommodate screen. The larger screen would also be above the pcb. The case would end up being perhaps 5mm...

Same here. Bought a banged-up GBA SP for cheap, slapped it into a new case with IPS display, got an Everdrive mini for regular GBA games and an InsideGadgets GBA cart for "Muh Pokemons" and after playing through Sapphire I'm now working on...

This is a brilliant idea. I have big hands, but still am ok playing my GBA SP. Still, I feel that there is a market for this. My fingers do get sore sometimes when I'm playing an intense game. A larger and more comfortable form factor for our...

Been watching the GBA mod and luxury market for a while now. GBA Consolizers, custom shells, metal shells, laminated IPS screens, rechargeable usb-c battery mods, Analogue Pocket, etc. Nobody really makes what I want. Consolizer glues you to a...

I'm 46, and for me the GBA still feels like a modern handheld. I think it still has potential. It's homebrew scene is getting stronger and will grow. I modded one of my SPs and I love it. Nice sharp and bright screen. I could repeat many good...

I can hardly wait for the market to be flooded like this for retro handhelds, but utilizing FPGA instead of emulation. This emulation trend of handhelds needs to fuck off and die already. Anbernic releases so many of these, they're competing with...

I have an LG A34 flip phone that has a booting problem atm. Will fix one day soon. Current phone is a Hauwei P30 Lite spyware edition phone. Before I got it, I used an LG VX8700 flip Phone for years. I wanted to use it again and get rid of my...

I think the GBA SP was one of the best handheld consoles ever released. The size and clamshell design was perfect. Even now it still has so much potential. Despite that the resolution did not work well for portable versions of NES/SNES games, I...
