Well, he was a handsome man, probably a charmer for the ladies. Before being arrested, even the police found it hard to believe that such a clean looking guy could be the suspect they were looking for. It doesn't make him a guru like Charles Manson was.
Never heard about Bernardo being a guru. Where did you read that? Unless you're confusing with another criminal, but probably not since Bernardo and his crimes are very well known in Canada.
I'm not talking about murdering the guy, but just a good beating like your video. If there are regular fights in a typical high school, I'm sure there are also regular fights in a medium security prison.
Yeah, I imagine the scene... The prisoner comes to Pickton and tells him "Nothing personal, man, I don't hate you." And then proceeds to attack him with the broomstick. Just joking. A prison is a violent place by nature, so these things can and will happen. Now we just need to see Paul...
I remember several years ago when Canadian senator Pierre-Hugues Boisvenu was still in function, he proposed for murderers imprisoned for life, that they should be provided with a piece of rope, and then let them choose what they want to do with it. It was highly criticized back then, and he...
Staying on Windows 7 and still using the internet, is that safe nowadays? I wouldn't know, as I've stopped using Windows some time ago, but that's an ancient OS there. I'm sure it's fine for offline, though.
I see. Well, if it's bad, I would re-download it from another source, even though it seems to work. It might crash later in the game. But that's your call, of course.
Edit: Your installer (DBI hopefully) didn't spit out any errors during installation?
How do you tell it's a bad xci? Did you check it? The two programs that I know of to verify installation files (nsp/xci) are nxgameinfo and nxfileviewer. I personally use nxgameinfo. It will tell you if something is fishy with your file before you install it.
OMG! He has the potential to get dozens of free games, and he decides to be cheap and buys a fake SD card. I wouldn't even have tried to use it . I would have told him "I said get a decent SD card!"
Only this game? It might be the nsp file that you used to install it, which could be bad...
Here's hoping you might find the time an energy to check what's wrong and release a fix. I know you're officially not supporting it anymore, but we're getting so close to the Switch's end of life now, it would be bad to go without a fully working title installer right at the finish line. No...
Yes, but I also respect the author's right to keep it closed. That's his decision. He was generous enough to share the fruit of his labor, and I'm thankful for that already.
I agree this is the main purpose of DBI, and as long as this feature works flawlessly, most everyone will be happy. But DBI can do a lot more than just installing games. It would be annoying to try to use a feature and have it fail. We'll see what happens with the author, anyway.
It's duckbill007 himself who reported DBI not being fully compatible with the new firmware. Of all users of this forum, he's the one who should know best, he's the dev of DBI after all. Hopefully, he'll find some time to check the issues and release a quick fix.
Your comment reminds me so much of something my father once told me. He had recently lost his wife (my mother) to cancer in the late 1990's, and wanted to get a computer to help fill his free time in his retirement. He was showing me what he wanted to buy, and these things were expensive. I...

I found it funny cause many many years ago, had a roommate in college that did this same dumbass branding of the school logo, but it didn't look anything like it after it healed. Just looked like a birthmark.
