No, the same software that I used is not working. The flashcard is not recognized anymore. If my Louvre New Nintendo 3DS XL would read the .firm files I would not ask here for this.

Hello everyone, after listening to some people here on the forum who believed that is possible to dump NAND from a NEW Nintendo 3DS XL Louvre edition and play games, I flashed a R4 flashcard with the help with a Nintendo DS Lite (which I bought...

It can't run .firm files and it doesn't boot with ntrboot method. It's a dev unit, I can enter DevMenu without any flashcard or microSD card. It does recognize the flashcard and also the microSD. Any sugestions?

I'm curious how it will be and It's giving me excitement on thinking about mode it. After I will do it, I will turn it back to it's original state probably. It will be also the first kind of console that runs games. And It's good for people who...

Yeah - for the price you could get for that, in "stock" condition, you could buy several regular n3ds XL's. There are none on ebay as far as I can see, but considering the price of just the Louvré 3ds carts on ebay, I'd guess that the system is...

It would be very cool for the community to get a firmware dump of that very rare piece of kit. Also it looks very nice, so gratz on your purchase

Just restore the NAND backup if you need to sell. Why let it rot unused on shelf for "value"? Honestly most people would be paying for the hardware anyways. You can always install the louvre app on any 3DS (or just n3DS?).

I don't really know if it's a market or not where should I advertise this if I'm willing to sell it? I don't have a proper screwdriver for it, I think I must order PH 000, I have PH 00 and it doesn't work. So if It doesn't have a flash card...

Honestly, this could be worth more kept in original state. 3DSes capable of playing games are not hard to come by after all, but these are. At the very least, dump the NAND before you do anything else. I don't know what you paid for this but it...

@idonthave always to the NAND dump first. I have a guide for dumping the NAND in one of the spoilers for my previous response. That guide will also set up your flashcart to be able to hack it. To anyone suggesting 3ds.hack.guide ntrboot guides...

I will make a research on GodMode9 but my 3DSXL doesn't read flashcarts as usual 3DSXL, it only has microSD port inside.

Thanks for your time to answer, how should I start this process? Should I start to dump the NAND first as @rvtr said? I don't know how to dump the NAND, I saw some guys on the internet and on this...

You could probably use NTRBoot to run SafeB9SInstaller and then use GodMode9 to dump the stock firmware (for preservation's sake) and CTRTransfer a regular firmware onto it.
  • I
Yes, that's why I'm here to make it run some games and cool stuff. For the purpose of knowledge because nobody did this on display for showing it's possible. I'm waiting for @rvtr to take me step by step to this quest.

According to this website it seems that this unit requires a CTR Guide Boot cartridge to stop it from directly starting the Louvre app. The system software seems to be very minimal considering the fact that it only boot into the Louvre guide. It...
