that's the fun part, you don't. Sony downloads updates anyway (even if you set the option off) as long as you're connected to the internet, so if you miss click it's over
Easiest way is to make a backup using the PS4's built in feature. swap the drive, restore.
if you dont wanna get a 1tb drive, saving only the save files and configs to an external drive is pretty much the only way you have
you should first find out what codename or model your southbridge chip is by running the southbridge payload or looking up your model. You could have for example a slim baikal which has the worst compatibility. It's quite hit and miss, actually. I have working ethernet but no wifi or bluetooth...
I have the same model, I can only assume is a problem with the drivers. Someone from the community would have to make them or remake them I guess but that seems unlikely
very thorough, nice. I wonder what I did wrong the first time when I tried on my own but thank you! It worked flawlessly.
Also, I did know about the trick with the ethernet cable but didn't know how to do it exactly, so very much appreciated too, saved me a couple google searches
Used it on a windows 10 vm on my mac and worked flawlessly. It took like 40 minutes to repackage each skyrim update. Thank you, this program couldn't be easier to use for people like us just jumping onto the ps4 jb train
It'd be pretty interesting being able to download fpkgs directly from sources you can at least kinda trust. I need an external hardrive just to be able to unrar the files on my laptop
tbh I just wanna test all those games I'm probably not gonna ever finish but also I've got a shitty laptop so it's not like I have much of a choice when it comes to gaming
Caller -"Everytime I start a Pc game on my S24, playing on a external monitor, someone calls or texts me, n it kicks me out of the game." Customer Support - Click (hangs up)
I found it funny cause many many years ago, had a roommate in college that did this same dumbass branding of the school logo, but it didn't look anything like it after it healed. Just looked like a birthmark.
