@AncientBoi Which one do you have installed? Yes, obv it's set in FO universe and there are similarities with the games, but it is it's own thing with its own story, characters etc.

I'm on episode 4 so far and I'm really enjoying it. I think the main three, the ghoul, Lucy, and the BoS dude all are interesting, and their stories are each good enough for me to not be annoyed when the plot switches away from a given character in favor of another. I like that they're keeping it on the west coast, though I am nervous..

So far it has solid comedy, pacing, and plot. It feels like it's taking a lot from fo3 in terms of tone, but I'm living for the references to 1+2. I don't know what to think about things like, Coop being the original vault boy, because it feels weird to mess with lore like that.

But at the same time, it works pretty well. A 50s era cowboy and his personality being used and manipulated to be the face of an evil company unwittingly is cool. Seems very in line with old school FO. I'm super interested in seeing where it goes.

(1/3) Glad to hear you're enjoying it too. Like I said the last episode is pretty good.. My gripe with Lucy & Maximus wasn't their background or pasts, but how goofy/naive they made them to be irl situations and events. Specially Maximus since he's been on the wasteland far longer than Lucy and of course him being a member of BoS should add some level of sternness to say the least..

(2/3) I could cut Lucy some slack since it's her first experience and doesn't know how to handle anything, also i don't want to spoil anything, but that naiveness/innocence of hers i think will play a role in her character development (in ep8), or atleast hope so..
