It's supposedly really easy to screw up when installing FlashMe on a DS Lite. When bridging SL1 you can accidentally bridge the wrong pin which would cause the console to turn off, which is a guaranteed brick if it happens at the wrong time. It could happen on a phat too but the pins are less...
Won't get updates if it's not connected though (literally the only reason I have my Samsung connected to the Internet)
Sometimes, those updates do add stuff that matters (like how I can now do VRR over HDMI 2.0 as well as 4K120 with YUV420, neither of which I was able to do when I got this TV)
Personally, I got a Shield TV to go with my TV, because Android TV/Google TV is so much better than that Tizen crap Samsung puts on their smart TVs. It actually has apps that aren't streaming services (such as Kodi, file browsers, plain VLC for playing your local content, even emulators and...
"You don't have to use it."
You kinda do when it forces ads in your face first thing every time you turn it on, and you have to look at said ads to navigate to the right source.
@DBlaze Those are also starting to come with smart features nowadays.
Not in terms of "is it normal for a human person to do this" but in terms of, how common is this among programmers? When I'm coding, it's like an addiction, I can't stop for anything. I barely even notice that I'm hungry. thirsty or tired. But I've been wondering how common this is. Do any of...
So decided to mod my GameCube with PicoBoot. I never use it anymore, I have a Wii and Wii U that are both hacked and Dolphin works very well, just wanted to do it for fun. Picked up a $10 PicoBoot kit from AliExpress and a GameCube HDMI adapter as well since my TV lacks analog inputs.
I didn't...
Interesting. Never knew the DS firmware was stored on the wifi module. There's probably a lot of DSes in landfills that were bricked by a bad flashme install or one of those brickers, that would've been easily recoverable.
Think he meant the breakout for the wifi module.
For that kind of power draw, you probably want something like a 100W solar panel. In my experience, you're lucky to get half of the rated output on a sunny day (I guess it depends on where you live though) and in less than ideal weather, it would be even less than that, so you really want an...
Decided to RGH3 my old Xbox 360 now that you can do it without buying any proprietary hardware, thanks to RGH3 and PicoFlasher.
Turns out my 360 stopped reading discs, so the timing was perfect. It'll still read them occasionally, so maybe the laser just needs cleaning. I don't think the laser...
If the chance of one Daisy alt is 0.8% then between them that should be a 4% total chance. You can afford 15 pipes, so that gives you a total chance of 60%. Pretty decent odds if you ask me.
Anyways, can't really blame you, Daisy is pretty hot :ninja:
It's random whether alkalines leak or not. Their chemistry cause a gas build up as they are used/depleted, they leak by design as the seals are designed to break when the pressure gets high enough, it's a safety thing. So the brand doesn't really matter, a cheapo brand is just as likely to leak...
It's always been kind of shit. The results aren't nearly as good as Google, but they're usually good enough. Google is my backup.
Don't think they've gotten any worse.
Monopoly is bad. It stifles innovation, and allows the company to do whatever they like to their users/customers.
That, and do...
