An update on the GC Wii VC settings not being sent to Nintendont if booting through ULGX Wii U forwarder with GamePad support:
I tested loading games with no USB drive being connected to the console and the result is the same(everything is off/set to no in the settings or set to 0).

I tested ULGX r1272 (mod v7) and the results are the same: the settings are not sent in Wii VC mode(with gamepad support) but are sent if outside the Wii VC sandbox.

Standalone is much better than the Retroarch one, as it's actually optimised for the Switch specifically and not just the OpenGL version thats used on most platforms.

I just downloaded the file and it opens and extracts correctly using 7-Zip and WinRAR.
So make sure to redownload the file as it seems like your download was corrupted(probably due to some downloading shenanigans).
Only one crash is present in the current version and it happens in the last hour of the game.
A temporary fix is to hold the B button during the whole scene where it crashes.
They're already fixed but since there are other minor issues (mostly text stuff so no crashes) we prefer releasing after all of them(or the important ones) are fixed.
Tho the remaining crashes show up just a bit before the final boss so you probably wont encounter them before the update is released.
