maybe i'm just fucked up and old school and too ingraned in the letterbomb and pre-open hbc days i guess but what the hell i thought installing it via a wad was a bad idea
HBC being upside down is a sign that it was installed improperly. FailOverfl0w (formerly Team Twiizers) made it go upside down for a reason, to prevent people from using a WAD Manager to install the Homebrew Channel. I would recommend uninstalling HBC from Wii Settings -> Data Management -> Wii...
Do you mean the Homebrew Channel (HBC) or homebrew browser (app launched from hbc to download other homebrew apps)?

oh god why did it send frice
Afaik it doesn't connect to the eShop? I never open the eShop from the HOME Menu and nothing seems to prompt it to connect to the eShop in-game. If it's somehow connecting to nintendo, it's probably doing it in the background for spotpass I'm guessing?
Happens to me too, doesn't seem to be an online thing but rather the system just... deleting it on its own due to them not being actually owned? e.g. it somehow realizes the ticket isn't legit so gets rid of them
Odd... None of those would have touched IOS 61, so it seems like it's just. Missing somehow? I'll have to look into this further, it's been a while since I've messed about with vWii stuff
I literally have no way of paying them, because I currently have no bank account or even debit card! I'm working on that, but still.
That and any parties involved with Wii U chat have to also be on the $10 tier or higher...
The issue isn't simply the fact I don't have the money for it, I do, but it's the fact that as someone who currently has no way to make online payments without having to go through his awful father for it,
I know it isn't a permanent gate, but it just doesn't feel entirely fair.. And it isn't a "little bit", I've been waiting for months and it feels like it's gonna take more months for them to have prod-environment support for Wii U chat enabled..
Also, NN is dead, you would think they would consider putting their already-finished things (such as Wii U chat, again) into production as a result, but no, for some reason..
I think they deserve compensation, but considering the fact they're roughly 250% over their monthly donation goal, I feel like they should at least put more things into a public, free beta, and maybe lock less-stable or less-finished things in the $10 tier.
Not everyone can pay that, and on their own website they list Wii U chat (among other things, usually system stuff) as 100% supported. If it's 100% supported or, "finished", why is it not on the production environment yet and not the more-or-less paid beta?!
I can't be the only one who thinks Pretendo locking their beta testing out behind a $10/month paywall is bullshit, right? I just wanna use Wii U chat, damn you!!
