No not yet. It was soo time consumption that I stopped working on it.
At the end the SB was soldered and reballed 3-4 times by me and that was many work. It is a donor now.
Okay I have some news but not finished the console.
It was a failure of the mosfet Driver for MemIO. I measured the ground but did not know it before having the circuit diagrams.
So I swapped the mosfet driver and the memory now getting 1.5V
But now the console beeps, light is flashing, NO...
Hi,
I have a XBOX One S which is beeping, shortly white light and then goes off. I measured all mosfets and observed that the Q9F2 Drain side is deadly shorted.
By injecting 2 Amps nothing getting warm. I already pulled the two caps near to Q9F1 and Q9F2 but still shorted.
Do you know what...
Hi again. I now have a console where I have to swap all eight modules to Samsung. Sadly I have no suitable stencil here. Does anyone knows the spec, which bga and which spacing is needed for PS5?
yes sorry for my bad English. I have seen that the regulator gets warm and measured a short at his output. And the root cause of the short on this output was the cap I marked.
After swapping the cap everything runs fine now. The regulator is still the old one since it has no further damage.
So I have some news. Still not working, Southbridge is re balled but not getting better regarding the USB. What I observed:
Diode Reading of 5V Rail is -1.9V. That looks weird to me. Maybe a Regulator or diode is burnt? Stdby voltages are all looking good. Console is starting but ends at the...
I swapped the WiFi Chip but still no enable for the USB Ports. Next try will be reflowing the Soutbridge cause enable comes from there. Interesting is, that on the transistor circuit in front of the MOSFET enable I did not found 5V or do not know where the high side / switching voltage is coming...
Hi all,
I have a new PS5 on my bench. The console is booting normally but it is not possible to synch a controller and since it was resetet to factory no chance to do anything.
No of the USB ports is working.
I opened the board an checked all fuses. The mosfets of all USB ports are getting...
Hi all,
I have a real weird Switch Lite on my workbench.
It came in cause of Blue Screen of Death. I reballed the APU and RAM and cause of an short I swapped the MAX77620 and 77812 with a new one.
The switch is going fine now, I added a new battery, new touchscreen and new LCD display...
No sadly not yet.

Okay. I measured around and got 3,3V as well through the PullUp voltage for the Enable line. So I cannot understand what is wrong. The Southbridge ist getting a signal from that TPM. Maybe there is an issue.
Hi,
I have a PS5 on my workbench with 2Sec Blod. All voltages look good, RAM and APU are getting warm for 1sek and then shutdown. I read out the errlog as you and only had those two problems:
80800014 TPM 2.0 chip / Power failure
808F0002 TPM 2.0 chip / Power failure
I swapped it with a donor...
Seems that they are married.
I swapped with one which has not the same number printed on cause I have no donor with exactly the same available. Since then I got this 8080001A error.
So I switched back to the original TPM but still 2 sec BLOD and TPM Power issues mentioned in the errlog.
I‘m also very interested in the meaning of the error codes for fixing some of my 2sec BLOD EDM020 boards with good voltage readings. On of them where I’m stuck now has only one error:
8080001A
Can somebody help me? For info: I swapped the TPM 2.0.
Thanks and best regards
Sorry. Correct, near that you will only find 1.8V for WiFi Module. 3.3V is from the backside directly behind this and is connected to 5V Standby.

There is an IC on the back of the HDMI encoder. I had a board where the input and output of this IC was not shorted but defect. Then I got...
I have two boards EDM 020 with exactly the same issue. I already reflowed the RAM and reflashed the BIOS. Nothing helps. One of them was able to boot into safemode but fails with „Update file is corrupted“ and after that will cycle as you said between beep without light and beep with 2 sec...
