I am trying to upgrade my hard drive but I do not have an official controller. I have tried a keyboard, a ps4 controller, and a broken DualShock 3 but nothing seems to work. Is there anything else I could use?

Broken trigger controllers generally go for cheap on eBay as far as I know you just need one to get past the sync page

If you have cfw, I think they patched in third party support to the emer_init.self. this is only needed for nor consoles iirc.
