It is said that Exfat is prone to corruptions when used with home brew.
I have experience it way back when I was using exfat. I have not use exfat since a long time.
The symptom is random failures.
Most of the time simple repair done on a PC is OK but eventually it became no matter what you do something don't work right.
Here is how I switch to fat32. It takes just a few minutes.
1. Backup the files.
2. Use hekate to reformat the SD to fat32. Making sure that emmunand partition is at the same place. (backup emmunand partition for extra safety, wasn't needed for me but if you make a mistake of overwriting your emmunand you can recover)
3. Copy the files back.
