Gaming Misc Ducktales Remastered - Pressing the Square Button Makes You Move Left

I wanted to play one of my old favorites one day so I got DuckTales Remastered for the PS3. There is one weird thing that I noticed though. When I press the square button on my controller, I move left and pogo jump at the same time. I never had this problem when I got this game, but now it's there for some reason. There MUST be a solution for this or else I'll lose my marbles! Just kidding. I can always use the circle button, but it's not the same. Any solutions?

I did it with the official controller and it worked just fine. How come this only happens on third party controllers?

I guess there are some exceptions though. I tried an old Afterglow controller I had collecting dust and it worked better than the Armor 3. No weird square button issue or nothing.
