Gaming GBS Control, anyone built one? I did recently and think it is worth it.

Do you change the image geometry in GBS? Like move it to the side, or down/up?
I sometimes see what you have in the first image if I really push it towards a side.

Try to reset the scaler to defaults.

My component connections just work, with an original Nintendo cable to my Wii and generic for the PS2.

I just performed a full reset, and it seems Wii is working fine again. Thanks for that advice on resetting the scalers to default.

Now the latest thing is just upscaling in general. I've tried this out on two TV's and the results vary to where I get no signal to signal corrupted with PS2 games on screen.

  • 15KHz and Pass Through are fine with games showing on screen
  • 480p & 576p: work fine
  • 1280x720: No signal
  • 1280x960: Signal will show for a couple of seconds, then disappears as shown below.
  • IMG_1642.MOV_snapshot_00.03.636.png
  • 1280 x 1024 & 1920 x 1080 No Signal

The only thing not wired to my board is the clock capacitor which I would assume could solve this? But considering this is optional, should a game that's native 480i upscale to 1080p with just the GBS-C Software and Arduino without the clock capacitor?

Does the GBS output something to the debug window on the web client?

It does, and in between posts I wired up the clock generator. Here's my screens of me going through all the presets, the settings I have setup and my list options.

I tried both enabling and disabling the clock generator in between settings.
