Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Well he has the chip that sockets onto the emmc. And his error code is for the mosfet/flex cable. So as long as he fixes that hopefully it'll work. If he had a clear photo of his flex solder points we could have a better look. He hasn't reported back since yesterday morning so maybe he hasn't...

Looks like long, long, short. Check your flex cable, make sure it's soldered on properly.

But in what order? Short lights, long lights? Depending on the order, all that is described in the guide and will give you an idea on what could be wrong. Also, pictures or video help too.

You check the error code list on the guide? The sequence should be long or short yellow LEDs

Hacking [Soldering]What does this behaviour mean?

Your points on the flex cable are still bridged. And you're missing some caps in that last photo. People say those are just to filter out noise. Again, each point from the pads on the flex goes to the left or right side of each cap it sits next to, not from one pad to the other. If it's booting...

It doesn't need cutting on the OLED. Fits perfectly next to the heatsink on top of the ram.

Hacking [Soldering]What does this behaviour mean?

The blinking yellow lights are the error code. The long space between the one long, then 3 shorts tells you it's that error. It'll cycle through a few times with that error code. The blue at the beginning just means it's trying to glitch. If success then you'll get the white single light to...

I would fix your CPU flex cable first. Your problem isn't D0

Hacking [Soldering]What does this behaviour mean?

Your SP1/2 connections looked bridged. You're also missing something next to SP1 Should look similar to this. Yours looks like it's just a big blob across the whole cap.

Hacking Switch Lite, RP2040 New Lite FPC flex, modchip flashes

Well if he's just checking to see if it's booting properly before sealing everything up he should be ok. I usually at least have the cover and all that down before turning my devices back on. But yes photos help a lot of you're looking for help in troubleshooting.

Yes you can boot without all that. Your dat0, cmd, and clk should read around 0.5+, while RST should read around 1.2+ or something. Also, that piece on the right of the flex needs to slide under the frame.
