The first thing isnt far off of what they did in HD. You have the Wii control scheme or a button scheme that uses the right stick as a sword.

Yeah I think a big thing with them is they are such a mainstream company that them doing this stands out a ton. There a ton of other companies who are even worse than them but they just dont stand out as much due to them not being as mainstream.
How do they do a "normal control scheme" without completely redesigning the game though? Being able to swipe in 8 directions is a base part of the game that is used thousands of times throughout it.
Pedestal of the Master Sword would change heavily dependent on which game we are going off of. In some games its in the middle of the lost woods. Others its in the temple of time.
Any kind of save editing in an online game has a major ban risk. You can risk it if you want but you can never be 100% safe when it comes to online stuff.
