The files for PC inside the StreamingAssets folder (1st screenshot) have strings of numbers and letters, not the same as the modded switch files. Notice on the 2nd screenshot that those files have approximately the same size as the modded files but some are repeated.
I think I found the solution for the crashing. Decompress the data.rsdk into a data folder with RSDKv5U_Extract https://github.com/Axanery/RSDKv5U_Toolkit/releases and use that instead.
The first screenshot shows the RSDK folder tree on my phone. So far no more crashing.
This is a workaround while testing Mario Party 6 and 7.
1. Boot the game while the microphone is unplugged from memory card slot 2.
2. Plug the microphone during the Nintendo copyright press start to continue black screen.
3. Unplug the microphone before doing the reset combo after playing.
Since your specs are similar to my mines. Have you tried changing power settings to high performance? Try lower full screen resolutions and anti-aliasing on your games.
According to the HP OEM page the CPU is upgradable.

I found it funny cause many many years ago, had a roommate in college that did this same dumbass branding of the school logo, but it didn't look anything like it after it healed. Just looked like a birthmark.
