Misc dropped my 3ds in the toilet

From what I've heard it makes a mess and doesn't fix the problem. It might help a little, but you can only do so much without opening the device up. There aren't many places for water to escape and rice is not great at absorbing moisture. And if it does absorb moisture, it turns into a sticky...

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (Switch) save editor request

I think that would be Key Black 2. The first black key is in the sewers, before chapter 1.

I can reinstall cfw after delete it?

That's not a question. Uninstalling CFW is not safe. You can get the homebrew apps back easily enough. Just follow the final step of the guide: https://3ds.hacks.guide/finalizing-setup.html You should also grab the latest Luma3DS boot.firm: https://github.com/LumaTeam/Luma3DS/releases

    Hardware 3DS won't update.

That's good. When I had this issue on emuNAND, I had to manually update by installing .cias every time there was an update. Until one of the updates bricked the emuNAND and I had a hell of a time transferring my data (because ctrtransfer didn't really exist yet) to a new emuNAND. For anyone...

    Water damage on 3ds

Ribbon cables aren't as fragile as people think. Just be careful, and prop things up to avoid putting stress on them. Never pull ribbon cables taut, there should always be some slack. I've never damaged a ribbon cable taking things apart or doing repairs and I usually unplug as few as possible...

    Water damage on 3ds

Disassemble it as much as possible and leave the pieces in front of a fan. You don't need to unplug all the ribbon cables, you just need to get it disassembled enough so air can blow on both sides of the main PCB, since it sounds like that's the only part that got wet. Water will get trapped...

Old SNES official controllers on Wii U?

I did consider mentioning those as well but I don't think those are sold individually and splitting up SNES Classics to sell the controllers on the side is kinda crappy, cause it means there will be a lot of SNES Classics out there without controllers since the controllers got repurposed for...

USB Loader GX not showing ALL of my games, but nintendont does

You might have your games spread between SD and USB, and Nintendont and USB Loader GX are not loading from the same place.

    Question to old people.

Dubstep? Not saying it's good, but it's certainly new.

Old SNES official controllers on Wii U?

You can mod integrated bluetooth into them and make them wireless, and use them with PC, smartphone etc. too. Depends if you want to be able to use them with official Wii or Wii U games. If you don't then USB adapter is probably better since it can be used on a lot more devices. If you do, then...

Is there anyway to get Gamecube Mic on Wii?

If you don't have GC ports, you obviously can't plug in a GC microphone. It plugs into the memory card port, so a USB GameCube adapter would not help you either. Emulating a GC microphone in Nintendont would be possible (possibly using a Rock Band mic or USB sound card with generic mic), if...

    3D glasses for Nintendo switch.

Plus, not to mention, the Switch is quite bulky and heavy. Which really limits the VR to short tech demos and playing through full length games (like BotW) in VR is out of the question.

Do you think there will ever be

We haven't had new features for the entire life span of the Switch. Why on Earth would they start now? The only new feature we're likely to see, is a system transfer to Switch 2.

Homebrew Homebrew game MultiDRCSpaceDemo - Using two GamePads on a single console

No. The gamepad uses a weird wireless setup and the 3DS doesn't have the hardware needed to act as a gamepad. It is of course possible to use a 3DS as a screen and controller, with the appropriate homebrew. It just would have to be written to work over normal wifi rather than the DRC protocol.

It's fucking stupid and people that do that are not right in the head. They're just burning money. Their own money. Some people don't think about that.

Samsung Imposes Questionable Rules on Independent Repair Shops

Does that include samsungparts.com? Which is an official store, AFAIK, and until now you were able to easily get parts for just about any Samsung device. One of the things that always got Samsung a thumbs up for me even if they are just as shitty as Apple in many other ways. Not surprised to see...

TTYD patch for AMD black screen sewer issue?

Which is BS because Yuzu made a point of purposely not supporting leaked games. What the community does is out of their control and has nothing to do with the emulator in any case. Whatever the lawsuit says doesn't tell the whole story. Nintendo didn't provide just one argument in their lawsuit...

@Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the character has the health behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the "greenflatbar" is one of the preset health bars btw
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you can use any bar/sprite. It will just change the width. Ok good luck and have fun. I'm off to go shoot some pool at the bar. Talk to you later.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why does the health behavior exist if you can just use a variable?
