    It's really not worth it from the research I've done. It really depends on your TV and how it handles upscaling. At most this will turn a bad TV into an average one from the reviews and the testings I've seen.

    Ended up getting a Sega Genesis V2 for $50 + Shipping with 2 controllers and cables (looks brand new) on ebay. I think I got a better deal by waiting, now for the other parts :)

    Yer it's selling from a bad area, so I'm wouldn't count on the 2 year warranty (the guy will probably move next week, my guess it anyway). Would you know anywhere else to buy them cheaper, as for my budget it's pushing it to the edge for a sega?

    No boxes, he just refurbished them apparently and comes with 2 year warranty... He won't budge, tried to get him down $50 and he said its firm. Just can't find any other sega's in Australia (PAL) with CD for anything under $250USD.
