I meant dvd drive, that was a translation error (somehow, not sure how i translated it to be hard drive instead of dvd drive)

Its the laser thats broken, to be specific. Id need to replace the laser and be extremely carefull with it so its not completely off center, which im not sure if i can do that, or i need to replace the entire dvd drive.

You could get an entirely new laser assembly from ebay.
They're not that expensive anymore and relatively easy to replace.

Id still need the thing flashed, and if im not mistaken, my drive is a hitachi, and ive heard those arent as good, so i thought replacing it might be a good idea

Drive spoofing isn't possible on LT 3 anymore.
It's better to replace the laser assembly and regrease the gears.

Installing games to the HDD saves the DVD drive from a lot of wear and tear.

(If you would, that would be really helpfull, i have a knack for breaking things like this at the last possible moment when repairing stuff (my 3ds, 2 iphone 5, propably more stuff that i forgot about))

I'm more concerned about the total costs.
Anyway, if it's a phatty 360, then replacing the drive with an entirely new one (like this one) is also an option.
I only need to extract the DVD keys from the old drive and flash them to the new drive then.

Yes, its a phat xbox, with a falcon mainboard

But replacing the DVD drive with a new Hitachi DVD drive is (it's the same hardware, only the keys get changed)

Ok, how about this: i send you the disk drive and some money, and you send me back a disk drive, and i expect it to be working and flashed. What happens between it leaving and coming back, i dont entirely care about. Sound good? Cause i cant replace the laser myself, and i cant put the keys on another diskdrive by myself.

could you flash the drive of an xbox 360 E module ? or does it only work on fat and slim ?

Only works on Phat and early Slim.
360 E needs to be RGH'd, at which point it makes more sense to keep the RGH, invest in a Dual NAND and ODDE or simply trade it in and get a Phatty.

Nope.
They can't be flashed and having it send to me to get RGH'd to get flashed or Xkey'd.. you're better off keeping it RGH'd or get a second phatty.
