<b>Step 1:</b>
- Place the WAD file in the “Mega Drive” folder.
- Place the Rom file in the “Mega Drive” folder.

<b>Step 2:</b>
- Rename the WAD file to: in.wad
- Then click on “WAD Unpacker.bat”.
- Press any key to close the Command Prompt when it has finished unpacking.

<b>Step 3:</b>
- This will have created a new folder with a 16 character long title in the “Mega Drive” folder. This guide will refer to it as the “WAD Folder”.
- Inside the “WAD Folder”, you should have the similar files as shown in the image below:

- Paste the copied BMP image into the “Imager Maker” folder.

- Then open “VC_Icon_Gen.exe”.

- In the “Source:” textbox Type: \image.bmp

- You now have all the required image files. These are stored in the “created” folder.

- Open the “data.ccf” file by clicking on the top right “…” button.

<b>Step 3:</b>
- Open the “config” file in Notepad.
- Change the “country” if necessary to:
“jp” – If you are going to installing the WAD on a JPN Wii.
“us” – If you are going to installing the WAD on a USA Wii.
“eu” – If you are going to installing the WAD on an EU Wii.
- Click on File -> Save.
- Close Notepad.

<b>Step 4:</b>
- Delete the “man.arc.zlib” file in the “data_ccf_OUT” folder.

- Make a copy of the “.SGD” file name.
- Rename the ROM file in the “Mega Drive” folder with that name (including its file type).
- Then copy the ROM file to the “data_ccf_OUT” folder, overwriting the original.

<b>Step 6:</b>
- Using the “CCF Tool”, open the “misc.ccf.zlib” file by clicking on the top right “…” button.
- Then click on the “Extract” button.
- This will create a folder in the “data_ccf_OUT” folder called “misc_ccf_zlib_OUT”.

<b>Step 7:</b>
- Inside the “misc_ccf_zlib_OUT” folder, delete all the “.wte” files.
- Copy and paste all the “.wte” files in the “Mega Drive” -> “Image Maker” -> “created” folder, into the “misc_ccf_zlib_OUT” folder.

<b>Step 8:</b>
- Open the “banner.cfg.txt” file in Notepad.
- Edit the Save Banner titles for each language.
Keep to a maximum of 20 ASCII Characters.
Keep to a maximum of 10 UNICODE Characters.
You can use both ASCII and UNICODE.
- Click on File -> Save.
- Close Notepad.

- Going back to the “CCF Tool”, click on the “Pack” button.

<b>Step 10:</b>
- Click on the top right “…” button and open the “data.ccf” file.
- Click on the “Pack” button.
- Close “CCF Tool”

<b>Step 11:</b>
- Going back to the “U8 Tool”, click on the “Pack” button.
- Close “U8 Tool”.

- In the “Mega Drive” folder, open “U8Tool.exe”.
- Click on the top right “…” button and open the “00000005.app”.
- Then click on the “Extract” button.

This has created a folder in the “WAD Folder” called “00000005_app_OUT”. Inside the folder is a “data.cff” file.

<b>Step 2:</b>
- In the “Mega Drive” folder, open “CCF_tool.exe”.
- Open the “data.ccf” file by clicking on the top right “…” button.
- Then click on the “Extract” button.

This has created a folder in the “00000005_app_OUT” folder called “data_ccf_OUT”. Inside that folder, you should see the following type of files as shown in the image below:

<b>Step 3:</b>
- Open the “config” file in Notepad.
- Change the “country” if necessary to:
“jp” – If you are going to installing the WAD on a JPN Wii.
“us” – If you are going to installing the WAD on a USA Wii.
“eu” – If you are going to installing the WAD on an EU Wii.
- Click on File -> Save.
- Close Notepad.

<b>Step 4:</b>
- Delete the “man.arc.zlib” file in the “data_ccf_OUT” folder.

<b>Step 5:</b>
- Make a copy of the “.SGD” file name.
- Rename the ROM file in the “Mega Drive” folder with that name (including its file type).
- Then copy the ROM file to the “data_ccf_OUT” folder, overwriting the original.

<b>Step 6:</b>
- Using the “CCF Tool”, open the “misc.ccf.zlib” file by clicking on the top right “…” button.
- Then click on the “Extract” button.
- This will create a folder in the “data_ccf_OUT” folder called “misc_ccf_zlib_OUT”.

<b>Step 7:</b>

<b>Step 1:</b>
- In the “Mega Drive” folder, right click on “WAD Packer.bat” and click “Edit”.
- Look for the four letters “CGM1”.
- Replace these four ASCII letters with your choice. Just use the letters A-Z and 0-9.
- Then click File -> Save

I advise you keep of note of what these four characters are. Each Channel has its own ID and it’s important to use a custom one and not be the same as other Wii Channels, otherwise it will just overwrite that Channel with that same ID on your Wii when you install the custom WAD.
<b>Step 2:</b>
- In the “WAD Folder”, delete the “00000000_app_OUT” and “00000005_app_OUT” folders.
- Then copy all the files in that folder.
- Paste them into the “Mega Drive” folder.

- Click on the “WAD Packer.bat” file.
- Press any key to exit the Command Prompt when it has finished packing.
- An “out.wad” folder will have been created.

<b>Step 4:</b>
- Rename the “out.wad” to a name of your choice.
- Now go and install the WAD onto your Wii.
