Hi

i wrote my own GUI for wbfs_win
Most GUI´s need .net ....... this one not.
So you dont need to install/download other files to get it to work.

Maybe someone like´s it ?

Features:
Add, Extract , Remove, Format, Rename
Automatic detection of WBFS drives. (Even if you plug in after GUI runs)
Scan´s Directory and Subdirectorys for iso´s & RAR´s
Statusbar for scanning ISO/RAR subfolders
You see how many isos will be scanned and what file actualy is scanned
Different sort options
Fill Up (If the USB Device isn´t full this function try´s to select the best iso´s to fill it)
Not on USB (Automatic selects all games not no the USB Device)
New bugfixed wbfs.exe
NO ESTIMATE BUG (Size is shown correct for Games >4Gig)
Export/Add CISO (Orginaly by Hermes)
You can export only the Gamepartition not the whole iso
(Hamster Heroes ISO 4.38Gig CISO0.05GIG)
Choose Filename and Directory for Exported files

Full RAR Support
Show RARname Gamecode and Gamename in nearly the same time i scann an normal ISO
Posibillity to read Passwords from TXT
Drag & Drop

batch copy and extract would be great and a direct integration of libwbfs instead of making use of a precompiled wbfs.exe

apart of that: great work.

Depending on the language your using you could have the option of loading the C libwbfs library as a DLL. Check around for that if you want to directly use libwbfs.

I think it is the "old" version. The fixed version is here: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=147...t=0&start=0
However I've replaced the wbfs_win included in your package with one fixed reneamed wbfs_win and it work!

In about 50 test´s we didn´t find any delete Bug

it happens when you delete a game then the one next to it fucks up, are you sure this version doesnt do this, because i dont think it was fixed in delta.

Sure i found errors but in my programm

Very good job, this is gui is very sample and efficent. Batch adding work good too. Thanks!

So this worked great on my computer in the back room, when I moved it out to the HTPC that's sitting next to the wii (Just switch USB cables when I need to load images or extract ISOs) it no longer works!

I get a "Run-time error '13': Type mismatch" error on starting up. If there's a switch I could start the application with to show more verbose errors I'd be happy to help out.

If i´m right the error came from the automatic wbfs drive detection.
Changed the routine.
Now it should work.

But can you please post (if new version works) what kind of drives the htpc has ?
(Something like this: C:NTFS D

VD E:Linux...)
I want to test what kind of partition causes such an error.

If it doesnt work i will write a spezial DUBUG Error version for you.

Hello,

i get also this Error 13 if no WBFS HDD is there, Ill get it six times bevor the Tool is starting

Error 13 (Typen unverträglich) in procedure
(Check WBFS)or (WBFSfrm).

First Partition is NTFS, but the Error comes, because the Tool find an external USB HDD in NTFS.

After six Times Error, I can see the Gui

You are correct, it is because of how it checks the drives. I noticed when the drive with the WBFS on it was letter "W", that it would crash. If the letter was moved before "R" in the alphabet it would work fine. Drive "R" on my system is a mapped drive to my server, seems your app doesn't know what to do with mapped drives and fails the analyze!

Makes sense when you think about it, I'll give the new version a shot for you.

EDIT:

Update didn't fix the problem if it scans the network share drive first, now I get a "Error 13 (Type mismatch) in procedure (CheckWBFS) of (wbfs.frm)." BUT!!! The application starts after the error which is better then before.. I bet you'll just have to add something to skip over network drives and that should take care of the problem.

hmmm... error 5 (invalid procedure call or argument) in procedure (changeWBFSDrive) of (wbfs.frm)...
i'm using an IDE to USB adapter...my drive is partitioned, the 1st partition is NTFS and the 2nd is WBFS...

Pretty slick application, it's the one I've been using as it scans my subfolders as well and is has a very small footprint. One thing that would be nice, but I'm not sure if its possible from a coding standpoint to to be able to scroll the windows while loading so you can see where it's at and such. Not normally a big deal, but it's nice when loading 80 or so images to a drive.
