I thought it might be a good idea to have one thread where you post about your experiences with different media cards to help others make the right choice when purchasing theirs.
The castlevania test is testing the playback of the opening FMV and a great test on how the card performs, leave it on the menu and it should appear after a few seconds of no activity.
There is an M3 version already here, but you can choose you can post here aswell.
Please give as much detail as possible.

Device: Supercard Mini-SD
Firmware version: 1.60
Media Card: Sandisk 1GB mini-SD (URL)
File System: FAT
Status: Works
Castlevania Test: Video drops frames and lags behind audio, audio quality not perfect. (FGP: On)
PassMe:Max Media Launcher
Flashed:No

This is a thread we definitely need, because it states what the File System is and this is needed, due to different results whether your using FAT/FAT32 when it come to the M3. This is the only way we can get accurate results when it comes to testing the M3, this wont apply to the Supercard because it uses FAT only.

Hey TheRock, How happy are you with your Sandisk and your Supercard SD. I just ordered the Supercard SD, and got a 1GB Sandisk from Office Depot for $30 no rebate... Should I take it back?

Device: M3 'Slim' SD
Firmware version: E18
Media Card: OCZ 2gig SD
File System: FAT32
Status: Works
Castlevania Test: Laggy but I have yet to test it with different rom settings (currently 1x, no trim)
PassMe: Passkey2
Flashmed: Yes - V7, also tested before flashing and worked fine too w/ just Passkey2

Note: Some have complained about problems with the OCZ 1gig card but I have had 0 problems thus far with the 2gigger.

Edit: Had time to retest the Castlevania test recently with different settings. 4x, no trim produced the best results which I'd rate about a 4-4.5/5; mild skipping during the 'intense' scenes but not bad skipping at all, maybe a few frames is all! Trim caused it to freeze when the character blocked the fireball, 1x caused bad lag. Card works flawlessly, in both NDS and GBA games, for me still, nearly 2 months later! Those tests were mostly done on the newer 21b firmware and I've since upgraded to 22.

M3 Media Card Compatibility at the M3 Wiki

http://m3wiki.emuparadise.org/index.php/Media_Card

Covers the M3 CF, SD, and miniSD with DMA, firmware revision, whether or not GBA mode works, and how well the Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow opening video performs.

It does not cover FAT12/16 vs. FAT32.

(Incidentally, I recommend the Kingston 1GB miniSD card as it can be purchased for relatively cheap at Newegg, and Newegg is wonderful)

I just bought a kingston 1GB miniSD card, I formatted using FAT32/8192, copied castlevania and the video looks awful, I give it 2/5, using my 1GB kingmax card the video is like 4.5/5, and I bought the kingston card because I read on M3 wiki someone said kingston was perfect. I just look at the specs of each card and it says kingston read/write speed is 7 MB/s and kingmax is 10MB/s, too bad I didn't asked before buying..

How is this possible?

Hey, I was browsing the M3Wiki and people claim that the x50 AData SD cards get better performance with the M3 compared to AData X60 cards. Can anyone confirm that?
