Even in this state (where R4 is diving in popularity in this forum) R4 is still a cart you know, there are many things provided to support this cart.
So, I'm trying to compile files that you might need for your R4 here, so you guys don't have to look or search for it again Table of Contents.... 1. FIRMWARES
"--A. Latest Official Firmware"
(show)
"--B. Recommended Firmware"
(show)
2. CHEAT DATABASES
"--A. Latest Cheat Database"
(show)
3. ROM TRIMMERS
"--A. Latest Official ROM Trimmer
(show)
"--B. Recommended ROM Trimmer
(show)
"tokyotrim Information taken from above thread WARNING: It's long!"
(show)
4. OTHER USEFUL TOOLS
"--A. R4Commander
(show)
"R4Commander information WARNING: It's long!"
(show)
"--B. DLDI Patcher
(show)
"--C. Moonshell
(show)
"--D.DSOrganize 3.2"
(show)
"--F.GBAExpLoader v0.5"
(show)
"--E.R4 Cheat Code Editor by YASU"
(show)
5. CUSTOMIZATION TOOLS
"--A.Injektor2 v1.09"
(show)
"--B.R4 Theme Creator Alice"
(show)
"--C.R4 Kernel Customizer"
(show)
"--D.R4denc"
(show)
"--E.Back to Firmware"
(show)
"--F.YSMenu"
(show)
That's all the things I feel necessary, anyone who knows other files important for R4 may tell me and post it, I'll update the post P.S: can the moderator stick this thread? I think this one is useful for R4 users out there This post has been edited by Raestloz: Aug 28 2008, 04:50 PM |

Formatting is key, as its hard to find what you're looking for in 200 lines of identical text.

good topic, but a bit confusing at first. subsections under firmware for example (1.1) make it first read like your saying the latest firmware is v 1.1. color headings and bold text make for better subtopic sections than numbering.
i really think you should include something on a dldi no-patch app (http://dldi.drunkencoders.com/index.php?title=DLDI_No-AutoPatch, http://dldi.drunkencoders.com/index.php?ti...ght_Click#v0.9) as dsorganize sometimes requires it for booting of homebrew with the r4. also where is the section on moonshell, how to use moonshell, and how to update moonshell? granted the r4 firmware comes with the latest version (1.71) but that won't always be the case. also dpg encoding for moonshell would be a welcome addition, even if only a few links to help others find their way. cheers, -another world This post has been edited by Another World: May 7 2008, 06:40 PM |

Needs a table of contents.
Spoiler tags would be optimal as well (to save on scrolling time). This post has been edited by Urza: May 8 2008, 08:15 AM |

Umm....... sorry, but what's the point of making a spoiler tag? Since items here are meant to be known, arent' they?I thought spoiler tags was links that links you to a part of the post.... seems I'm wrong

So if someone is looking for something, they don't have to scroll past the entire text of every item. Once they find what they're looking for (which should be simple due to the table of contents), they just click the spoiler button and have what they want. |
