This thread will be kept up-to-date with a list of currently released WADs for WiiWare and which ones have been dumped. The list will include which WADs are available and which WADs work for different region Wii's after using Freethewads.

**Freethewads does not work on NTSC-U or PAL Defend Your Castle. Download the version that corresponds with the version of your Wii (NTSC-U or PAL)
*In order for Family Table Tennis to work on PAL Wii's, it must be patched with the correct PPF and then patched with Freethewads as PAL. However, pressing HOME on the Wii Remote will cause the game to freeze, but the rest of the game works fine.

I can't tell if you're being serious or making fun of the people who really do complain about that. To those of you who really are that meticulous, remember that it's free. If the logo really matters that much to you, buy the game. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

I was more commenting about you saying that a non jap region dump doesn't need to be done. Region dumps are done all the time because of minor differences.

just an info:

you can patch every WiiWare game to work on any region,
i can play Defend Your Castle NTSC-U and Angel Solitaire NTSC-J on my PAL Wii without any problem.

you just need to patch 00000001.APP from JPN (or USA) to EUR (or USA), then it works.
(for Angels Solitaire you need to crack it, to work properly on PAL Wii's)

That's some very helpful information. However, how would one go about doing this?

for Defend you Castle NTSC-U -- NTSC-2-PAL patch:

- open WDFE.wad (or whatever the name is for your wad) with WADTool 1.0, decrypt it
- rename .00x.des to .APP files
- open 00000001.APP with GWP and patch what's needed to patch, or use this patch file:

It was released today, but it hasn't been dumped yet. Some private tracker torrents uploaded My Pokémon Ranch today in an effort to get people to register but neglected to mention that it was the Japanese version. The last five or six games have had the pattern of being uploaded the day after their releases, so I expect we will have it tomorrow. Until then, it's the only game missing. Every other WiiWare game that has been released can, at this point, somehow be played on any Wii from any region.
