    Are you choosing IOS249 to install it and IOS57 or IOS38 as the base IOS? What System Menu do you have, do you have any cIOS' installed, and do you have all GC memcards and controllers unplugged? If not, then try Pimp My Wii 2.11 to install all of the latest IOS' and cIOS' as well...

    Any drive can be flashed as far as I know on the original 360s. Not the Slims yet. It's just that the newer models or models with updated dashboards can't be jtagged.

    Though, I would highly suggest keeping Priiloader installed just in case you get a BannerBrick and you don't have BootMii as Boot2. You made that way too complicated for yourself. You probably should have just stayed on 4.2.
