EDIT - this is working! Just done Mario, going through the games now, will get back shortly..

So relieved & grateful to all here to say that it worked! Took me a bit of getting my head around it all, but so pleased with the results - the games look much more colourful with whiter...
Thanks :) Is there a simpler way? I'm a noob & that sounds complicated!
So sorry @Maeson, I wish I was more knowledgable on this but I have another question:
I have the wads of SM64 and MK64 on my SD card. I've downloaded HxD on my PC. I opened up the wad of SM64 in HxD, had a feeling I was...
Thanks guys, trying this now.
@Maeson - really appreciate your input and discoveries on this - how should I put the wad back on the console when I've edited it? I don't mind if it's not on the Wii menu screen, as long as it's bootable from USBLGX so I can reduce the flicker filter.
Wow, it works beautifully, thanks so much all! And four levels of filter removal is fantastic as you can really fine tune the look - I find just one layer of removal (medium) is enough to sharpen the image without it getting too pixellated & losing that smooth N64 image style. Huge appreciation...
Thanks guys, so sorry for the delay, family life took over. The reason I wanted to use the NTSC Wii is because I wanted to have the official NTSC 60Hz versions of the games outputting via RGB scart (I'm in the UK) to my Trinitron. The NTSC Wii doesn't output RGB so I had it fitted with a WiiDual...
Thanks again guys - so we have two very different approaches from two very knowledgable people.
For a noob like me who just wants to have the cleanest most straightforward approach and only uses this NTSC Wii for N64 VC games (I use my other PAL Wii for Wii games), what would be the easiest...
Thanks guys, much appreciated. Sorry for my ignorance - the console is unmodded so far & the games are just downloaded from the official Wii shop when it was open - does that mean they are on the nand and fine to go? So for example I just hack the console with letterbomb, install USB loader GX...
I had a trawl through the threads, but the only options I could find was individually editing Wii games or the new deflicker disable option in USB loader GX (and maybe other USB loaders?)
But I'm not sure if either of these options would work with the official N64 games?
@JuanMena - do you...
@JuanMena - Cheers for the reply - yes I meant Wii shop :)
So Priiloader disables deflicker system wide for all 480i games including N64 VC? In that case, does it have 2 levels of filter removal like Swiss?
What does the 480p fix do? Usually 480p modes don't use deflicker as there's no...
Hi all,
I'm looking to remove or reduce the deflicker filter from N64 VC games on my Wii in 480i on my consumer Sony trinitron CRT TV. I use Swiss to do this on my Gamecube, which is great & it works really well on all my GC games.
Swiss on GC can remove two layers of filter, setting '2' is...
Thanks - I’ve decided to try and do this a different way as I have the official games on another Wii, so I’ve created another thread here entitled “Transfer whole Wii to another”. This better explains my situation :)
Only thing drive me crazy is all these new horror games nowadays is its so dark, all time. I can't even play them. I understand they trying to create spooky but be creative a little, not just darkness with pop out scare scenes.
